change to club layout

Just wanted to make a note that I changed the club layout a pinch.  I made the text box in the middle of the pages bigger, because it was hard to fit too much writing in it. This means that the coordinates for the left-page box:
 x: -2.9792 in and y: 3.2679 in
And the size is: W: 2.7113 in and H: 0.8214 in

And the right-page box:

x: 0.2679 in and y: 3.2857 in

And the size is the same as above.  

 So if you have a club layout, make those changes.  Thanks!

New layouts and stuff

Hey!  I'm just writing to say that I can do the One-Desk-for-a-Day layout (whatever we end up calling it). Also, since I know a lot of the seniors are working on sports videos, I can start on the senior video.  Eventually, that'll end up needing all of us, but I can begin the work.  Is there anything else?  I don't have many layouts, so I'm trying to help out where I can...

Off Campus

I am in need of some super awesome off campus photographs! If you have any or know of anyone with any SWEET off campus pictures I would love it if you could bring them to me or tell me who I need to talk to in order to acquire said photos!

Video contest results

 We made it to the next round of 32. We had 3150 votes to about 380. However I am going to be annoying you again on April 25th when we go one on one against Norwolk High School. If we were to continue on I've included below the date windows for each round.

Round of 32 from: 4/24/12 to 5/4/12
Round of 16 from: 5/4/12   to 5/16/12
Round of 8 from: 5/16 to 5/22/12
Round of 4 from: 5/22/12 to 5/24/12
Round of 2 5/24/12

Ford video contest date set

Our one on one against St Cloud High School in Florida is set for Tuesday April 17th.

Here are directions from a Ford e-mail.

Since this contest is all about social media, make sure you encourage family, friends, teachers and other members of your community to “like” the Drive One 4 UR School Facebook page and vote your favorite video to victory! Only the video with the most votes per match-up will make it through to the next round.  You can find the contest by going tohttps://www.facebook.com/DriveOne4URSchool then click on “Student Video Contest” on the top right-hand side of the page. From there you will find two sets of match-ups and your High School’s video.

Drive One 4 UR School update

No word yet from Ford. However, Debbie Peterson from Valley Ford called me yesterday and said that the video contest people in Michigan are currently updating their facebook page because the page is only showing part of the brackets. As they pair schools with each other the brackets will appear and we will be notified.
